Chef Professor Wan Chung Sy (aka Bill W.  C. Sy) has served as the Culinary Director of Culinary Arts and Management  at the Art Institute for the last twenty years, and was inducted to the Hall of Fame of the American Academy of Chefs and received honours at the American Culinary Federation in 2015.

He has earned  many awards  including Chef of the Year, Educator of the Year and Lifetime Achievent to name but a few.

He has been dedicated as an Approved Judge of WACS, judging inter- national competitions in many cities and countries and supporting young chefs over the last ten years. He has been invited to lecture at many colleges and universities in Asia and has written many articles on culinary education and competitions in the media. He is a highly regarded educator in the US and abroad.
